Ready to elevate agriculture in the Western Cape? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for UAVs and drive the future of crop technology! This is a hybrid work setup, offering a competitive package. 

Duties &Responsibilities

 
  • Lead UAV Promotion: Introduce and promote UAV solutions for crop spraying, seed spreading, and fertilisers in the Western Cape and neighbouring countries
  • Market Education: Educate the agricultural market on the benefits and applications of UAV technology
  • Customer Development: Actively develop new customer relationships and maintain existing ones
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the Business Development & Innovation team and the Vantage sales team
  • Direct Sales Responsibility: Handle direct sales of UAVs specifically for agricultural applications
  • Sales Experience Required: Proven track record in sales and business development within the agricultural crop industry is essential

DesiredExperience & Qualifications

 
  • 3+ Years in Agricultural Crop Industry: Deep domain knowledge and experience
  • Drone Expertise: Strong understanding of drone applications in agriculture
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in sales and business development
  • Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC): Essential for operating UAVs
  • Experience with DJI AGRAS Drones: Highly advantageous
  • Strong Relationship Building: Excellent skills in networking and negotiation
  • Travel & Other: Must be willing to travel nationally, within South Africa and possibly international as required, valid code 8 license, and own reliable vehicle (per km paid by company)
