Overview
We are on the hunt for a Credit Controller to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portion of the Sales Ledger to ensure maximum cash flow, minimize bad debts, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Maintaining customer accounts within designated credit limits and aged debt profiles.
Ensuring timely payment of outstanding accounts in accordance with agreed terms.
Recording all customer interactions in an agreed format.
Addressing and resolving queries and disputed invoices promptly.
Preparing accounts for management review as required.
Reporting and actioning necessary adjustments to customer accounts.
Keeping documentation and filing accurate and up to date.
Escalating problematic accounts early and preparing them for litigation if necessary.
Arranging meetings with customers to ensure smooth account management.
Collaborating with other departments to maximize the efficiency of the Sales Ledger.
Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Credit Manager or Company Management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in credit control processes.
Ability to thrive in a team environment within a fast-paced industry.
Strong understanding of the role of credit in business operations.
Effective communication skills for engaging with key stakeholders.
Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
