Overview
We are on the hunt for a Feature Analyst to join client's team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of innovative, efficient, and scalable solutions. As a Feature Analyst, you will lead the analysis and design of complex, industry-aligned solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product outcomes and ensure alignment across initiatives.
This position requires a self-directed professional with a strong ability to manage requirements, analyze business processes, and contribute to the development of best practices within the Feature Analysis discipline.
Responsibilities
Solution Design and Leadership
Lead the analysis and design of complex solutions by translating business needs into detailed functional specifications.
Build strong relationships with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Designers, and business stakeholders.
Provide thought leadership on business processes and solution design to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer value.
Guide and mentor Feature Analysts to support capability development and high-quality delivery.
Support Product Leadership with scope management, stakeholder expectations, and timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
Requirements Management and Analysis
Plan and coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements.
Analyze requirements for completeness and alignment, documenting and managing them throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate verification of project deliverables and ensure alignment with project goals.
Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be"
Document complex current-state and future-state business processes.
Identify and document changes required to transition to the future-state environment.
Accurately capture business change requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Business Requirements Identification
Elicits complex business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops and workflow analysis
Defines requirements in terms of target user roles and business goals
Enterprise Business Analysis and Feasibility Studies
Interpret business needs and recommend solutions at the business unit level.
Lead business improvement initiatives and conduct feasibility assessments.
Document findings and perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed business changes.
Agile and Innovation Leadership
Lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile team activities, removing delivery obstacles and facilitating problem-solving.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through idea generation, collaboration, and innovation initiatives.
Review and reprioritize Agile backlogs to optimize resource allocation and maximize business value.
Practice Leadership and Documentation
Define and develop best practice standards for the Feature Analysis discipline.
Align practices with industry frameworks, standards, and legislation.
Create and maintain complex technical and user documentation, ensuring it is backed up and recoverable.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience in business analysis, solution design, and Agile methodologies.
Strong ability to elicit, document, and manage complex business requirements.
Expertise in analyzing "As Is" and "To Be" business processes and identifying necessary changes.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts.
Experience conducting feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and business case development.
Familiarity with emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Agile, Business Analysis, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
