Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our clients Information and Technology Services team for a 6-month contract. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing project leadership across our clients IT portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning and delivery from inception to execution

• Understand and interpret business requirements

• Define project objectives, scope, impacts, outputs, cost, benefits, and success criteria

• Manage project risks, issues, and budget control

• Lead and support project teams, ensuring on-time completion

• Ensure effective management of quality, processes, reporting, and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• 3-year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification in IT

• Project Management certification

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in programme and project management

• Managed at least 5 IT or IT related projects through the complete project management lifecycle

• Agile Project Management experience

• Proven track record of delivering business application and infrastructure projects

• Relevant retail industry experience an advantage

Day-to-day

• Develop Business Cases or Feasibility studies

• Align IT Projects with Business Requirements

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders

• Lead and mentor project teams

• Analyze the impact of change on the Business, Programs, and Projects
