IT Risk Manager

Introduction

 

Are you ready to take on a strategic role as an IT Risk Manager with a leading financial services firm for a 12-month contract, where you’ll shape risk management practices and drive operational excellence?

Duties &Responsibilities

 
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Advise departmental heads on risk support and guidelines
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor the overall risk profile
  • Produce risk reports and co-create plans for proactive risk management
  • Oversee the management of risks associated with Information Security and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and lead project assurance capabilities, including oversight of a Project Risk Management framework

DesiredExperience & Qualifications

 
  • Degree in Risk Management or related field (Essential)
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry
  • 2+ years in a managerial capacity within Risk and/or Compliance
  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, with at least 4 years managing risks for technology-led projects
  • Registered with the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (RMSA) (Desirable)
  • CRISK or similar certification (Desirable)
