Procurement & Logistics Manager

Introduction

 

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for optimizing procurement and logistics processes? We’re looking for a dynamic Procurement & Logistics Manager to shape and streamline operations, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of solar PV and battery energy storage systems from sourcing to delivery.

Duties &Responsibilities

 
  • Develop and implement a standardized P&L framework, including clear procedures, processes, and standards for all supply chain activities
  • Lead strategic procurement efforts for solar PV components, batteries, and related materials, ensuring value for money while adhering to sustainability commitments
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and terms, and monitoring supplier performance
  • Handle import and export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, including dangerous goods classification and customs clearance
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the procurement and logistics department
  • Monitor and control procurement and logistics costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction throughout the supply chain

DesiredExperience & Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in the renewable energy or related industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams, with a focus on collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Experience with import/export regulations, including handling dangerous goods and customs clearance
  • Project management skills, including overseeing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Technical proficiency in procurement processes, logistics operations, and inventory management systems, with strong knowledge of relevant software and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with solar PV and battery energy storage systems is preferred, along with familiarity with sustainability standards such as ISO 14001
