Overview
We are on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager to lead a critical business transformation initiative.
This is a contract position, ideal for a hands-on professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale transformation projects in complex and dynamic environments. The role will involve end-to-end project management, stakeholder engagement, and driving change management activities to ensure the successful implementation and realisation of project benefits.
Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of the transformation project, from initial planning to implementation and benefits realisation.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation.
Drive change management initiatives to embed new processes and ways of working across the organisation.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Provide clear and regular reporting on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and project sponsors.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Uphold robust project governance, including maintaining plans, budgets, RAID logs, and reporting documentation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale business transformation projects.
Strong expertise in end-to-end project management, including planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting.
Proficiency in both Agile and traditional/waterfall delivery methodologies.
Exceptional change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to manage risks and dependencies effectively.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and report at senior and executive levels.
