Overview
We're on the hunt for a System Operational Analyst to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the CAM Investment Platform (CAM), Peregrine Client Securities (PCS), and CAM Manco Teams. This role involves ensuring data integrity, monitoring batch processes, and providing operational and system support.
Responsibilities
Batch Processing
Monitor daily batch processes to ensure system availability and successful execution.
Address and resolve any exceptions arising from batch processes.
Ensure accurate processing of client incomes, debit orders, and fee accruals/collections.
Implement changes related to income distributions, tax setups, and interest allocations.
Prepare and set up data for evening batch processes.
Data Integrity
Investigate and resolve integration issues related to data reconciliations.
Conduct tax data testing for annual and provisional submissions.
Perform data integrity testing and corrections, such as resolving negative balances and unresolved deals.
Execute bulk data updates in Maxim.
Operational Support
Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
Maintain and update system processes and procedures.
Complete wrap rebalances and bulk switches.
Update and maintain static information on Maxim, including calendars, public holidays, and batch run dates.
Set up new parties and instruments in the system.
Support SARS submissions and operational projects as required.
Implement changes related to Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
System Support
Provide first and second-level support for operational systems used by CAM, PCS, CAM Manco, and H4 Hedge Fund teams.
Testing
Assist with system testing and validation as required.
Qualifications
National Diploma in Computer Data Processing or a relevant IT qualification.
Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office packages.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment industry, with specific experience in LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) operations.
