Job Title: Agile Coach

Overview:

We're on the lookout for an Agile mastermind to help a forward-thinking company supercharge its teams! As an experienced Agile Coach, you'll be the go-to guru for mentoring, guiding, and embedding Agile principles that drive real results.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Agile Methodologies: Ensure teams adhere to Agile methodologies and principles, and promote the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto.

  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to teams, stakeholders, and leaders on Agile methodologies and principles.

  • Change Management: Act as a change agent to promote the adoption of Agile methodologies and overcome resistance to change.

  • Facilitation: Lead workshops, meetings, and Agile events to create a collaborative environment and promote Agile practices.

  • Scrum Master Support: Provide guidance and support to Scrum Masters, identify obstacles, and offer feedback for improvement.

  • Agile Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze Agile metrics, provide regular reports, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Technical Expertise: Support teams in adopting Agile engineering practices and provide technical guidance.

  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage teams to continuously improve processes and practices and foster a culture of learning.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Agile methodology and manage expectations.

  • Support the Value Portfolio Manager: Work closely with the Value Portfolio Manager to align Agile methodologies with organizational strategy and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (preferred).

  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent certification) is advantageous.

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile coaching or leadership.

  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or Disciplined Agile.

  • Experience in organizational change management and coaching at different levels.

  • Insurance or financial industry experience advantageous.

Day-to-day:

  • Leading Agile workshops and meetings.

  • Providing coaching and feedback to teams.

  • Analyzing Agile metrics and preparing reports.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and Scrum Masters.

  • Supporting teams in adopting Agile engineering practices.
