Overview

We are searching for a seasoned and dynamic Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead to join our client's Global Business Services (GBS) department on a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across key business units, including HR, Procurement, and Finance. Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across HR, Procurement, and Finance functions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, analyze, and resolve process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process standardization and optimization.

  • Utilize data-driven methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools, to achieve measurable improvements.

  • Provide coaching and training to team members to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of CI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Act as a change agent, fostering innovation and promoting best practices across the GBS department.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.

  • Extensive experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence roles, preferably within a global or shared services environment.

  • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies (certification preferred).

  • Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale improvement projects with measurable outcomes.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of influencing and driving change at all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Day-to-Day
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

  • Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance assessments to identify areas for enhancement.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build CI capabilities within teams.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented initiatives.

  • Prepare and present progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for CI projects.
