Overview
We are on the hunt for a Data Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, optimizing, and improving business processes to align with organizational objectives. Responsibilities
Review, evaluate, and analyze user needs to document system requirements and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
Identify process improvements to prevent wastage and reduce costs.
Create, update, review, and maintain defined processes to ensure efficiency.
Assess, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes to enhance business efficiencies and improve customer/employee experiences.
Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of prioritized and approved projects.
Analyze business workflows to identify opportunities for improvement or automation and oversee their implementation.
Develop and nurture collaborative relationships across teams and functional areas.
Seek feedback to assess personal performance and identify training needs for continuous improvement.
Apply innovative solutions to improve organizational processes and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements while adhering to relevant processes.
Compile and present reports to track progress and guide informed decision-making.
Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Sales, and Marketing.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and design effective solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
A relevant degree in BSc Information Systems, BCom Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, BBusSc, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 1 to 2 years as a Business Analyst I.
Knowledge and Skills:
Basic understanding of developing business cases and use cases.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
In-depth understanding of financial data and banking information systems.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access.
Experience in developing and interpreting reports.
Strong proficiency in design process tools such as Visio, Python, and Power BI.
Expertise in SQL coding, AWS cloud platforms, ETL tools, and data warehousing.
