Our client is hiring a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to lead the finance function within their International Logistics team. This strategic role involves aligning financial planning, performance, controls, compliance, and innovation with the company’s broader business objectives. Key responsibilities include business partnering, shaping pricing strategy, driving cost optimization, advancing financial digitization, ensuring ISO compliance, and supporting business growth through due diligence and strategic input into service innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead multi-year strategic financial planning processes
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
Monitor and mitigate financial risks
Attend operational reviews and strategy sessions
Recommend and implement cost-saving measures
Implement and monitor internal financial controls
Build a high-performing finance team
Partner with tender/pricing teams on cost models
Prepare for internal and external financial audits
Qualifications
BCom Honours in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management
CA(SA) or CIMA Qualification
ISO 9001, 14001, 45000 familiarity
Advanced ERP, Cargowise and BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Day-to-day
Align reporting with stakeholder requirements
Maintain audit-ready documentation
Provide scenario planning to guide executive decisions
Prepare and submit financial reports on time
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts
Build and develop a high-performing finance team
Partner with tender/pricing teams on cost models
Prepare for internal and external financial audits
