Overview
We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager III to join our client's dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of multiple, cross-functional, global, and large-scale IT projects. As an IT Project Manager III, you will play a key role in delivering innovative IT solutions that align with our business strategy and enterprise architecture. Responsibilities
Successfully execute and deliver assigned projects on time, within scope, and budget, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
Define project purpose, objectives, and deliverables to ensure technical and business feasibility.
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to establish shared expectations and project deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, priorities, cost estimates, resource requirements, and communication strategies.
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with external suppliers when required.
Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, risk assessments, and process maps.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure successful delivery.
Track and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Provide regular updates on project status, including timelines, key decisions, dependencies, and risks.
Ensure adherence to established IT project governance and methodologies.
Lead collaborations with stakeholders to maximize project quality and business value.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent (essential).
Formal Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, AMP, Prince2, MSP) (essential).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior project management role, managing business-critical projects with multiple integration points (essential).
Experience with multi-method project delivery and methodology (essential).
Exposure to SAFe (desired).
Proven experience working with executive stakeholders and delivering strategic business goals (essential).
Experience managing "blue sky" projects, including new functionalities, platforms, or compliance initiatives (essential).
Experience in a retail or FMCG environment (desired).
