Overview

We are searching for an experienced Carrier Sales Manager to join our client's team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the sales of mobility products and services to carrier clients, achieving revenue targets, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is an on-site role that requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Acquire RFP invitations, present competitive and feasible solutions, and manage the bidding process to secure deals.

  • Understand and leverage network capabilities as well as resale opportunities in the wholesale telecom market.

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Southern Africa region, including capacity, IP-VPN, Internet, colocation, mobile (excluding voice trading), IPX, devices, and A2P services.

  • Represent the company’s services and capabilities to potential clients through networking and presentations.

  • Serve as the primary contact point for carrier partners and clients, managing all commercial issues and ensuring seamless communication.

  • Conduct daily pricing activities for carrier clients and manage contracts with carrier partners and clients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

  • A minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the telecom industry, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the wholesale telecom market.

  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly, both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to perform under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
