Overview
We’re looking for a Sales Development Manager to join a leading ICT services provider in West Africa. In this role, you’ll develop and execute sales strategies, manage key carrier relationships, and uncover new opportunities in the wholesale market. Your mission: drive revenue and profit growth through smart selling and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Presenting our brand to carrier players in West Africa and managing client relationships
Acquiring RFP invites, presenting feasible solutions, and approaching bids until deals are sealed
Exploring new business opportunities and forging relations with target clients
Serving as the primary contact point to carrier partners/clients and organizing commercial events
Contributing to market research and intelligence into pricing functions
Managing contracts with carrier partner/clients and ensuring compliance with company policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in a related field from a reputable University
Certifications or supplementary sales training
Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the telecom industry, with at least 5 years in the carrier or wholesale telecom market
Strong understanding of the wholesale telecom market in the Western Africa Region
Excellent leadership and coaching skills
Techno-commercial experience and account management skills
Above average understanding of financial terms and local tax regulations
Solid understanding of Telecommunication networks and new technologies
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time both locally and internationally
