Overview

We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our client's team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. As the leading ICT services provider in the mainland of China, we are dedicated to providing communications and information services in South Africa and neighboring countries. The successful candidate will engage with current and potential customers to develop innovative solutions and establish long-term relationships. This is a permanent position with competitive remuneration including basic salary, medical aid, provident fund, car allowance, and fuel.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their business strategy and develop roadmaps for solutions

  • Develop relationships to drive innovative solutions that provide value to customers' business needs

  • Analyze competitor activity and market direction to identify opportunities for expansion

  • Provide quality consultation and analysis to resolve customer needs

  • Establish sales models, prepare documentation, and provide periodic reports to senior management

  • Provide after-sales support including service performance review and contract renewal negotiation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Telecommunication or System integration

  • At least 3 years' experience in consultative and direct selling, tendering, and relationship management

  • Positive mindset, result-oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin Chinese is compulsory

Day-to-day

The successful candidate will engage with customers, analyze market trends, and provide quality consultation to resolve customer needs. They will also be responsible for establishing sales models, preparing documentation, and providing after-sales support.
