Senior Collection Associate
Overview:
Join our client’s team—a leading multi-brand provider of IT solutions—as a Senior Collections Associate. In this key role, you’ll manage customer accounts, ensure timely payments, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives
Responsibilities:
Maintain customer accounts within designated credit limits and aged debt profile
Ensure timely payment of outstanding accounts
Collaborate with sales and other departments to minimize customer disputes
Process credit held orders and resolve queries and disputed invoices
Prepare accounts for management review and process journal adjustments
Assist with new customer on-boarding and refer problematic accounts for litigation if necessary
Liaise with other departments to ensure maximum efficiency of the sales ledger
Support Collections Managers in process improvement initiatives and projects
Manage team cash sheets and assist in onboarding and training of new staff members
Specialize in a field to support the collections function
Qualifications:
Senior level experience in credit control processes
Experience in a fast-moving industry and working in a team environment
Competent IT skills, including Excel; experience with Dynamics and GETPAID preferable
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure with a professional attitude
Day-to-day:
Your day-to-day will involve maintaining customer accounts, resolving queries, collaborating with various departments, and supporting process improvement initiatives. You will also be involved in onboarding and training new staff members and specializing in a field to support the collections function.
