Administrative Assistant – Planning Office
Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing documents, capturing production data, and facilitating communication between departments to ensure seamless operations in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Organizing and filing production and planning documents.
Inputting production data into spreadsheets or templates.
Printing, distributing, and filing job cards and schedules.
Assisting with document control and updating tracking sheets.
Communicating with relevant departments to follow up on production-related information.
Supporting the planning team with general office duties and admin tasks.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric.
2–3 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with the planning team.
Day-to-day:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining organized documentation, inputting and tracking production data, and facilitating communication between departments. They will work closely with the planning team to ensure efficient operations.
