Electrical Project Manager - SA Citizens Only

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client's team in Frankfurt, Germany. As the European leader in construction solutions, we are dedicated to delivering innovative and complex engineering and construction projects for leading corporations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the electrical systems package, ensuring site safety, driving quality, health, safety, and environmental culture, and overseeing day-to-day site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the electrical systems package and site safety

  • Oversee the electrical design process and OFCI electrical equipment

  • Drive a focused quality, health, safety, and environmental culture

  • Manage project schedule, costs, and day-to-day site operations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Manage sub-contractor activities and the snagging system

  • Attend various project meetings and close out all project items

  • Issue weekly progress and cost reports

  • Support and coach the electrical team for their development

  • Prepare sub-contract and supplier tender packages

  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary

  • Fulfill all other duties associated with the role

Qualifications

  • Trade and/or relevant third level qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in project management

  • Proven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects

  • Experience dealing with industrial relations issues

  • Knowledge of health & safety

  • Experienced in design and build

  • Good technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems

  • Excellent IT and communication skills

  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines

  • Ability to drive a large-scale project

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical systems package, ensuring site safety, driving quality, health, safety, and environmental culture, and overseeing day-to-day site operations. This will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, preparing reports, and supporting the development of the electrical team.
