Responsibilities

As a Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing strategic, multi-channel marketing campaigns to engage target audiences.

  • Designing and managing campaigns across various platforms, including websites, social media, events, videos, podcasts, newsletters, and surveys.

  • Developing and implementing content strategies, including drafting and editing compelling materials tailored to the target audience.

  • Monitoring campaign performance, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to optimize results.

  • Organizing and managing events (both virtual and in-person), including venue research, invitation coordination, and on-site support.

  • Creating and managing LinkedIn and Twitter campaigns, while leveraging Google Analytics to enhance user experience.

  • Maximizing SEO efforts to maintain visibility and drive traffic.

  • Managing relationships with external suppliers, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring return on investment.

  • Coordinating newsletters and automated email campaigns in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

  • Translating technical offerings into compelling marketing propositions.

  • Managing campaign budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns, particularly in the UK professional services sector.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical topics into engaging content.

  • Experience in SEO techniques and proficiency in Google Analytics for data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively in an agile team.

  • Proficiency in digital tools and software, including MS Office, WordPress, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms.

  • A proactive, innovative, and results-oriented approach to marketing challenges.

Day-to-Day

On a typical day, you will:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with business objectives.

  • Draft and edit content for various formats, including videos, podcasts, and newsletters.

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and adjust tactics to optimize outcomes.

  • Coordinate with external suppliers and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
