A finance role at the centre of a multi-country business, where you will have real impact and influence. As a member of both the Africa leadership team and the divisional finance leadership team, this role shapes performance, investment decisions and long-term direction across the region.
What you will do
Own the financial performance of the Africa business across Southern and East Africa
Act as a senior finance partner to the Africa Managing Director and leadership team
Provide commercial insight to support strategy, investment decisions and resource allocation
Lead the annual planning cycle including budgets and five-year plans
Hold the business to account on major business cases, governance and return on investment
Oversee finance operations and reporting across multiple African entities
Ensure statutory reporting, internal controls and audit requirements are met
Partner with Group Tax, Treasury and other group finance functions
Manage cash flow across Africa entities in collaboration with Group Treasury
Lead and develop a regional finance team of senior professionals
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant CA(SA)
Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles within a multinational organisation
Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives
Strong commercial judgement with experience influencing business performance
Experience managing finance operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Demonstrated ability to balance governance, control and commercial outcomes
Confident communicator with presence and credibility at executive level
