Future-Fit Software Engineer – AI-Enabled Engineering

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building production-ready solutions that harness AI effectively while operating within governance, compliance, and risk controls.
What you will do
Embed AI capabilities into enterprise-grade systems
Build secure, explainable, AI-powered applications ready for production
Improve operational efficiency through automation and intelligent agents
Design and build backend services using .Net / C#
Develop modern SPA frontends, with exposure to Blazor
Design and build RESTful APIs
Contribute to microservices and distributed system architectures
Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Apply secure coding practices across development
Deploy solutions to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Work with DevOps tooling including GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker and YAML
Use AI to support development, coding, automation, and issue and problem identification
Deploy AI-powered features into production environments
Requirements
5+ years’ software engineering experience
2+ years’ exposure to AI implementation
Strong backend engineering experience, preferably in .Net / C#
Experience with modern SPA frameworks, ideally Blazor
Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
API design experience, including REST
Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Demonstrated secure coding practices
Demonstrated production deployment of AI-powered features
Experience in a regulated industry preferred
