Overview

This is not your average Head of Commerceial role! It has an overarching, highly invested involvement in all aspects of the business, that is a catalyst for sustainable development and start-ups acceleration. Dynamic approach to ensuring sound financial management and efficient corporate governance of complex entity structure. Report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in strategy formulation, financial management, cost control, financial analysis, corporate governance, and stakeholder relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input and assist with the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan

  • Oversee group financial management and administration, ensuring accurate and updated financial reports, compliance with financial reporting procedures, and efficient payroll system

  • Ensure cost control through accurate budgeting, efficient cash flow management, and identification of financial risks

  • Oversee financial analysis, provide credible financial advice to the management team, and ensure compliance with financial legislation

  • Develop and oversee policies, monitor adherence to policies, and ensure legal compliance for good corporate governance

  • Maintain positive relations with all stakeholders, resolve complaints, and ensure effective communication with internal customers

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • Five years of experience in a similar role

  • Registration as CA or Management Accountant (desirable)

  • MBA (desirable)

Day-to-day

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement the strategic plan

  • Ensure accurate and updated financial reports and compliance with financial reporting procedures

  • Analyze financial information and provide credible financial advice to the management team

  • Develop and oversee policies for good corporate governance

  • Maintain positive relations with stakeholders and ensure effective communication with internal customers
