Overview

We are recruiting for a dynamic and creative Marketing Associate to join our client's Marketing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing and Strategy Consultant in driving internal and external branding initiatives, managing communications, and executing design projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization while championing our brand identity.

Responsibilities

As a Marketing Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

Administrative Support
  • Assist the Marketing Consultant in ensuring compliance with the marketing strategy and brand guidelines.

  • Identify marketing opportunities and develop ad hoc campaigns to support business objectives.

  • Provide consistent branding and marketing support to client-facing team members.

External Marketing Activities
  • Coordinate and manage corporate events, including conferences, exhibitions, client events, and webinars.

  • Draft engaging copy for mailers, social media, and other marketing channels.

  • Manage and update the company’s websites, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and optimal functionality.

  • Administer bulk email campaigns using Mailchimp.

  • Collaborate with photographers and designers to produce high-quality marketing materials.

Internal Marketing Activities
  • Maintain and update the company website and SharePoint dashboard.

  • Develop and design marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, presentations, and banners.

  • Manage the events calendar and inventory of branded items.

  • Ensure the corporate image is consistently portrayed across all communication mediums.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: A tertiary qualification in Marketing.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in generalist marketing, including digital marketing, branding, design, event management, and copywriting. Experience in financial services is advantageous.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Canva or similar design software. Knowledge of Adobe, SharePoint, Mailchimp, WIX, and SEO is a plus.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Energetic, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    • Creative and proactive with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

    • Strong editorial skills to write, edit, proofread, and share engaging content.

    • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills.

Day-to-Day

On a typical day, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Consultant to execute marketing strategies.

  • Design and update marketing materials to support internal and external branding efforts.

  • Manage the company’s digital presence, including websites and social media platforms.

  • Coordinate logistics for corporate events and ensure smooth execution.

  • Provide immediate support to team members with branding and marketing needs.
