Overview

We are hiring a seasoned Site Automation Product Manager to join our client's team on a 12-month contract. Reporting directly to the Head of Payments & Loyalty, this role is critical in managing and optimizing site automation systems to ensure seamless operations across their network. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a deep understanding of Point of Sale (POS), Back Office Systems (BOS), Head Office Systems (HOS), Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG), terminals, forecourt controllers, payment networks, and loyalty program integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of site automation systems, including POS, BOS, HOS, and ATG.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payment networks and loyalty programs.

  • Manage the lifecycle of site automation products, including upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

  • Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to site automation systems, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and system specifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing site automation systems, including POS, BOS, HOS, and ATG.

  • Strong technical knowledge of terminals, forecourt controllers, payment networks, and loyalty program integrations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Day-to-Day
  • Monitor and manage the performance of site automation systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address technical issues and implement system enhancements.

  • Conduct regular system audits and generate performance reports for management review.

  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of site automation systems.

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align site automation initiatives with business goals.
