Overview:

Dedicated and experienced Project Manager (Engineering) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing Solar and BESS engineering projects on time, within budget, and according to the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, management of contractors, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects across South Africa and Southern Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Project mobilisation with commencement of projects

• Site supervision of construction phase

• Additional tasks including supporting Operations & Maintenance team, site assessment during bidding phase, and implementing & maintaining ISO9001 Quality Procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field advantageous

• Master Degree or certification in Project Management preferred

• Experience in Solar PV and BESS advantageous

• Min 5 years in project engineering management

• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a project lifecycle

Day-to-day:

• Initiating procurement and coordinating logistics arrangements

• Overseeing, assessing, correcting, and instructing mechanical, electrical, earthing, and IT sub-contract works

• Leading various test procedures on site and conducting quality control assessments
