Overview

Currently seeking an Assistant Human Resources & Administration Manager to join our client's team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of recruitment processes, executing HR initiatives, and acting as a business partner to various unit heads for southern, central, eastern, and middle Africa. This role will also involve supporting the implementation of HR policies and processes, acting as a focal point of contact with local payroll vendors, and participating in HR ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full spectrum of recruitment processes

  • Plan and execute Region HR initiatives

  • Act as a business partner to various Unit Heads

  • Support the implementation of Headquarters and Regional HR policies and processes

  • Act as a focal point of contact with local payroll vendors

  • Compile HR reports regularly and upon request

  • Participate in any HR ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • Degree holder in business studies / human resources management or a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years formal recruitment experience

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English and Putonghua is a must

  • Willing to travel on a quarterly basis between Kenya and South Africa office

Day-to-day

The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day recruitment activities, HR initiative planning and execution, providing HR expertise and advice to resolve employee issues, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes.
