Overview
Currently seeking an Assistant Human Resources & Administration Manager to join our client's team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of recruitment processes, executing HR initiatives, and acting as a business partner to various unit heads for southern, central, eastern, and middle Africa. This role will also involve supporting the implementation of HR policies and processes, acting as a focal point of contact with local payroll vendors, and participating in HR ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
Manage the full spectrum of recruitment processes
Plan and execute Region HR initiatives
Act as a business partner to various Unit Heads
Support the implementation of Headquarters and Regional HR policies and processes
Act as a focal point of contact with local payroll vendors
Compile HR reports regularly and upon request
Participate in any HR ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
Degree holder in business studies / human resources management or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years formal recruitment experience
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and Putonghua is a must
Willing to travel on a quarterly basis between Kenya and South Africa office
Day-to-day
The successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day recruitment activities, HR initiative planning and execution, providing HR expertise and advice to resolve employee issues, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes.
