We are searching for an experienced Sales Development Manager – Carrier Business to join our client's team in Johannesburg. Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Identify and secure new business opportunities by acquiring RFP invites, presenting competitive solutions, and managing the bidding process through to deal closure.
Act as the primary point of contact for carrier partners and clients, organizing commercial events and fostering client engagement.
Conduct market research to gather intelligence, support pricing strategies, and enhance product positioning.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and professionally.
Manage contracts with carrier partners and clients, ensuring adherence to company sales policies and processes.
Drive both new business acquisition and the growth of existing accounts, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the telecom industry, with a strong focus on carrier or wholesale telecom markets.
In-depth understanding of technical products and their commercial applications, including experience in buying, selling, and contract negotiation.
Proven track record in account management and sales, with a demonstrated ability to secure new business and nurture existing relationships.
Results-driven with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A proactive and dynamic approach to problem-solving and achieving business objectives.
