Imagine stepping into a role where you’ll enable squads to thrive, shape a culture of agility, and influence delivery maturity across the organisation. In this position, you’ll be part of an established Agile Release Train (ART), working alongside experienced Scrum Masters and contributing to a dynamic Agile community.

What will you do?
  • Support two or more squads within a large-scale Agile Release Train, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Business Stakeholders.

  • Work co-located with your squads to drive alignment, flow, and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the broader Agile Community of Practice, coaching new team members and strengthening delivery maturity.

  • Help shape the culture of agility across the organisation.

  • Coach and guide multiple cross-functional squads within an established ART.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies with purpose—engaging, outcome-driven, and aligned to team goals.

  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog and deliver incremental value.

  • Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder progress.

  • Support ART-level ceremonies such as PI Planning, PO Sync, Scrum Sync, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.

  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers to improve flow and coordination.

  • Promote continuous improvement, helping teams reflect, adapt, and evolve.

Requirements
  • Grade 12.

  • Relevant IT Qualification (Degree or Diploma) advantageous.

  • Agile Certifications such as CSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM, PSM I/II, SSM, SASM, SA, ICP.

  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices.

  • Ability to use Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, predictability, WIP) to drive improvement.

  • Strong grasp of empirical process control and fostering transparency, inspection, and adaptation.

  • Understanding of product delivery lifecycle and how Agile interfaces with design, architecture, testing, and release management.

  • 4+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or delivery leader in an Agile/Scaled Agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of Agile Frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practical application.

  • Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, creating safe spaces for learning and accountability.

  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across teams and leadership layers.

  • Experience supporting PI Planning and working within a large ART or similar scaled structure.

  • Passion for servant leadership and enabling others to succeed.

  • Knowledge of SDLC, release processes, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro.
