Overview
Step into the role of Senior Financial Project Coordinator, driving comprehensive financial oversight and PMO support for a large-scale strategic programme. You’ll manage accurate financial tracking, contracts, vendors, and ensure seamless coordination across business units and funding sources — all while working alongside programme leadership to enable high performance and delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
Financial Management (Primary Focus)
Manage complex budgets across multiple business units and funding sources.
Maintain financial trackers for accruals, forecasts, and actuals.
Reconcile invoices, purchase orders (POs), timesheets, and contracts.
Oversee approximately 60 contract expiration and renewal cycles.
Ensure compliance with Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and Work Orders (WO).
Support financial reporting and audit readiness.
Act as the primary liaison and escalation point for programme finances across internal entities and vendors.
Own all financials, invoicing, payment oversight, and reconciliations.
Programme & PMO Support
Assist the Programme Head with diary management, meetings, and executive engagements.
Oversee project support activities and ensure the delivery of core PMO functions within the programme.
Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, access requests, and team logistics.
Maintain programme governance documentation and reporting.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
Engage with senior executives, vendors, and third-party partners.
Facilitate the contracting and onboarding of project resources.
Maintain collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and MS Teams.
Qualifications

Strong financial management background, preferably within financial services or insurance.
Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow in programme delivery and change management.
Comfortable navigating emerging technologies, including AI, cloud, SaaS, and PaaS.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling).
Proficiency in tools such as SAP, JIRA, Confluence, PPO, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
Strong financial acumen; an accounting qualification is preferred.
Experience in large blue-chip or financial organisations.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Grok.
Strong understanding of contract and vendor management.
Ability to work independently and lead others effectively.
Day-to-Day
Oversee and manage financial operations, including budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and contract renewals.
Provide direct support to programme leadership, ensuring smooth coordination of meetings, governance, and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to facilitate resource onboarding and maintain effective communication.
Ensure compliance with financial and contractual frameworks while maintaining audit readiness.
Utilize advanced tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance programme delivery.
