We are searching for a detail-oriented Tax Registration Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing multi-jurisdictional VAT registration processes for a diverse client base, including small businesses, mid-sized enterprises, and multinational corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, maturity, and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment that involves working with overseas clients.

Responsibilities
VAT Registration Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end VAT registration process for a global client base, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with international regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales and Tax Associates, to address and fulfill client-specific registration needs.

  • Provide clients with regular updates on registration progress and ensure clarity on requirements.

Client Relationship Building
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for clients throughout the VAT registration process.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client queries promptly and following up proactively on outstanding requirements.

Documentation and Compliance
  • Prepare and submit international VAT registration applications with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Maintain accurate records of all VAT registration processes, client communications, and supporting documentation.

  • Liaise with VAT authorities globally to ensure compliance and resolve any issues efficiently.

Process Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
  • Assist the Registrations Manager with ad-hoc tasks to optimize registration processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance the client experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: Matric (A-level equivalent) is required. A relevant degree or professional qualification is preferred.

  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a strong foundation in office administration.

  • Client Management: Proven ability to manage and maintain effective client relationships while delivering high levels of satisfaction.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in managing documentation and record-keeping.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.

  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple registrations and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

  • VAT Knowledge: Prior experience with VAT registration processes is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
