Overview
We are recruiting for a dedicated and detail-oriented Wealth Management Associate to join our client's Wealth Management team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support to a Wealth Manager, ensuring that all tasks are executed with precision, professionalism, and a client-centric approach. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to the Wealth Manager, managing operational details, deadlines, and paperwork to enhance the overall client experience. Responsibilities
Administrative Support to Wealth Manager
Prepare and collate new client onboarding documentation.
Oversee the management and updating of client CRM profiles.
Liaise with internal and external providers to address client-specific queries and implement instructions.
Resolve and manage administrative queries or issues directly with clients on behalf of the Wealth Manager.
Coordinate the preparation of client review packs with assistance from the administrative team and Paraplanners.
Legislative Compliance (FICA and FAIS)
Apply knowledge of the FAIS General Code of Conduct in daily tasks.
Draft and/or review Record of Advice and Replacement Disclosure forms to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) based on client risk profiles in accordance with FICA and internal compliance guidelines.
Technical Support
Maintain a basic understanding of financial products used by service providers.
Compile proposal documents based on Wealth Manager instructions and recommendations.
Prepare financial needs analyses and retirement needs analyses as directed by the Wealth Manager.
Qualifications
Education: A commerce or financial degree from a reputable tertiary institution.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the financial planning environment, assisting Wealth Managers or Financial Advisors with administrative tasks.
Professional Registration: CFP designation and RE5 certification are advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and familiarity with XPlan (advantageous).
Knowledge: Solid understanding of FAIS (CAT II advantageous) and FICA regulations.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FICA and FAIS.
Prepare financial analyses and proposal documents to support client recommendations.
