Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and drive the strategic growth of our business. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership and strategic direction for all functions within the division.

  • Formulating and executing the division's strategic plan for the assigned region.

  • Establishing and leading the execution of operational strategies.

  • Setting and achieving key performance targets, including sales, delivery, cost, and other operational metrics.

  • Driving sales growth and ensuring continuous cost and quality improvements.

  • Managing all sales-related activities, including setting and monitoring sales targets and ensuring accurate delivery across all sales channels.

  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with sales, operations, finance, and people management to ensure smooth business processes.

  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and providing timely feedback on new products, price changes, and launches to senior management.

  • Communicating operational and sales results to Executive Management and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Building and fostering strong relationships with members and suppliers to support the company’s mission of building better businesses.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A degree from a recognized university (preferred).

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of the FMCG industry, including operational management, finance, and people management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve results through collaboration.

  • A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
