Overview
We are searching for an experienced Scrum Master to lead and support two Agile delivery teams for our client's Middle and Back-office platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by fostering Agile practices, facilitating team collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Agile Ceremonies
Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure ceremonies are productive and focused on achieving sprint goals.
Planning & Estimations
Facilitate planning sessions to help teams estimate and prioritize work effectively.
Guide teams in breaking down complex tasks into manageable pieces.
Sprint Progress Reporting
Monitor and report on sprint progress, ensuring transparency and visibility for all stakeholders.
Use metrics and data to provide insights into team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Impediment Removal
Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
Act as a buffer between the team and external distractions, ensuring the team remains focused on their goals.
Agile Coaching
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile principles and practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the teams.
Sprint Backlog Administration
Administer the sprint backlog on Azure DevOps (TFS), ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the team's work.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Product Owners to ensure backlog items are well-defined and prioritized.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:
Education
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification.
ISTQB certification is required.
Technical Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Proficiency in using Azure DevOps (TFS) for backlog management and sprint tracking.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Additional Experience
Proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to removing impediments.
