We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced CSA Construction Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of CSA work packages, ensuring the successful delivery of projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities

As a CSA Construction Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing the Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.

  • Overseeing site safety in collaboration with the Safety Advisor, including the setup, management, and closeout of safety files.

  • Managing site QA processes in conjunction with the Project Manager and team, ensuring proper setup, management, and closeout of QA files.

  • Collaborating with planners, project managers, subcontractors, and consulting engineers/architects to manage project schedules in line with client requirements.

  • Overseeing all project costs with the support of the Quantity Surveyor, including labor, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring smooth execution of all activities.

  • Supervising subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedules, and ensuring manpower levels are adequate.

  • Ensuring all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is up-to-date and properly filed.

  • Attending site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.

  • Closing out all project items, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA files, material and plant relocations, and project plans.

  • Issuing daily reports to the Project Manager and weekly safety statistics and labor projections.

  • Conducting weekly commercial meetings to ensure all variations are captured and costs are communicated to the client.

  • Developing and implementing company procedures in collaboration with project managers.

  • Ensuring effective change management in terms of cost and program adjustments.

  • Reviewing drawings, setting out details, and producing builders' works drawings for services.

  • Carrying out, distributing, and closing out CSA snags.

  • Performing all other duties associated with the role.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working with a recognized contractor.

  • Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Proficiency in engineering-related systems software.

  • Advanced IT skills.

  • Familiarity with project planning software such as Primavera and CAD/BIM processes.

  • Proven ability to manage workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
