Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Package Lead to join our clients team in Frankfurt, Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a pivotal role in managing electrical systems packages for cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities

As the Electrical Package Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Oversee the management of the electrical systems package, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.

  • Safety Leadership: Collaborate with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor to manage site safety, including the setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.

  • Design Oversight: Manage the electrical design process in coordination with the Design Manager.

  • Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement and management of Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) electrical equipment and packages.

  • Quality Assurance: Drive a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental excellence within your team. Manage site QA processes, including setup, management, and closeout of QA files.

  • Cost Control: Manage all costs associated with the electrical package, including labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment, variations, and valuations.

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractor activities, track progress, and ensure weekly meetings are conducted and documented.

  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and issue weekly internal and external progress reports, highlighting project milestones, risks, and concerns.

  • Material and Resource Management: Schedule and track material deliveries to align with project schedules.

  • Team Development: Support and mentor the electrical team to foster professional growth and development.

  • Documentation and Closeout: Ensure the completion of all project documentation, including final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, and QA files.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A trade qualification and/or relevant third-level degree.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of coordinating and managing large installation projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Experience in design and build projects.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.

  • Proficiency in IT systems and tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under strict deadlines.

  • Experience managing industrial relations issues.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive large-scale projects and mentor team members.
